A rough guide to our retreat experience
Yoga
EVERY DAY @ 630AM + 4PM
Daily yoga sessions will start with a grounding breathing practise leading into a gentle sequence of movements to warm and nourish all of the joints of the body. The practises will build into a Hatha Flow, a sequence of slow dynamic movements interspersed with longer holds of postures to build strength and stamina.
Anna and Anne are highly qualified and experienced practitioners. Our intention is to nurture everyone’s practise and meet you exactly where you are.
Meditation
EVERY DAY @ 730PM
Daily meditation will be guided lying relaxation (Yoga Nidra). Yoga props will be provided to you to ensure you are comfortable and are able to immerse into practise.
You will receive one-on-one attention. Anna and Anne are available to support you to ensure your Retreat stay is completely nourishing.
Wilderness
EVERY DAY
Daily immersion into the pristine environment around us, experiences include:
Cold water immersion in Clutha River and Lake Wanaka with breath-work
Hike along the Clutha river, an on-foot adventure which allows you to take in the breath-taking scenery of Wanaka
Hike to mountain peak (destination dependant on seasonal opening)
Boat trip to the magical Mou Waho Island, a protected nature reserve
Culture
A Day in Wanaka Town & Craft Brewery Tour
Enjoy exploring the township of Wanaka, including a private tour of our lovely friend’s craft brewery, Rhyme & Reason. We may even have a beer and strike a yoga pose or two!
Wanaka is the gateway to the alps of the South Island New Zealand. It is a vibrant town of cool eateries and cute shops, back-dropped by the beautiful Lake Wanaka.
