Immersion Yoga Retreats is a collaboration of like-hearted yogini’s Anna Miley & Anne Forkert. Anna and Anne teach and share yoga on the North Coast of NSW, Australia. They met through yoga (Anne attended one of Anna’s classes way way back!) and have continued to learn, share and collaborate with Yoga at the heart of their connection.
Anna Miley is an exercise physiologist, yoga therapist, mindset coach, mother and adventurer. Anna is excited by the meshing of modern science with the subtle body wisdom of yoga to support people to heal on many levels. Anna has over a decade of experience in teaching movement and Mindfulness.
Anna loves the way yoga demands authenticity and never hesitates to laugh, cry or dance on her yoga mat. Anna’s Hatha Vinyasa, Therapeutic and Yin Yoga classes are offered with the intention to allow each participant to find solace in the home of the body.

On inclusion
We continue to educate ourselves on true inclusion in business and personal life, and understand that at times we fall short. We am willing to be called out on where we can do better. Everything you will explore here is offered with a whole-hearted belief in the potential of everyone. We hold intention to be inclusive and to not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, ability, or financial circumstances. We recognise as cis-gendered, white, able-bodied women our numerous forms of privilege. We wish to acknowledge the true custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Gumbaynggirr people, and I pay my respects to the Garby Elders of the Gumbaynggirr Nation, both past, present and emerging. We also pay our respects to the Maori People of Aotearoa whose land we visit. We purposefully include activities in our retreats that ‘give back’ to the land of Aotearoa and hold intention to include more cultural education in our itinerary for our retreat participants.
